Dr. Olaleye Oladejo (Consultant Ear Nose and Throat / Head & Neck / Robotic Surgeon; Alumnus of the College of Medicine, University of Ibadan).

Dr. Olaleye is an alumnus of the College of Medicine, University of Ibadan, class of 2002. He pursued postgraduate training in the UK and obtained a PhD in 2018, focusing on human papillomavirus epidemiology and epigenetics in Oropharyngeal cancers.

He performed the first transoral robotic surgery in Leicester, UK, and leads the Head and Neck Robotic Surgery Programme at the University Hospitals of Leicester NHS Trust. This groundbreaking achievement promises to revolutionize the treatment of head and neck cancers, enhancing survival rates and reducing chemotherapy toxicity.

Dr. Olaleye specializes in ENT, Head & Neck, and Transoral Robotic Surgery. He completed a prestigious Fellowship in Head and Neck Surgery at the Royal Adelaide Hospital in 2020.

His appointment as Head of Robotic Surgery for Head and Neck at the University of Leicester has been described as a landmark moment, showcasing his expertise and dedication to advancing medical science.
